Susan Daniel directs the Robert Frederick Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University. Her research focuses on cell membrane functions using cell-free biomembrane platforms to study viruses and develop therapeutics. She received the NSF CAREER Award and led coronavirus research collaborations across Cornell campuses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
