Susan Civale

Dr Susan Civale is a Reader in Romanticism at Canterbury Christ Church University, affiliated with the School of Humanities & Educational Studies and the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Education. She serves as Co-director of the International Centre for Victorian Women Writers (ICVWW), focusing on research and teaching around the long nineteenth century, including life writing, women’s writing, gothic literature, and authorial/textual afterlives.
