Susan Callaway

Susan Callaway is an Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of St. Thomas, where she also directs the Center for Writing. She teaches courses for first-year students, English majors with a Writing Emphasis, Teacher Education candidates, and writing center trainees.

Her research examines writing center theory and practice, composition and rhetoric, and social justice approaches to writing pedagogy. She currently investigates how writing centers can foster intercultural awareness through community-based service learning.
