Susan Butler-Wu, PhD, D(ABMM), SM (ASCP) serves as the Director of Medical Microbiology at LAC+USC Medical Center and holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She received her PhD in Molecular Microbiology from Tufts University and completed postdoctoral fellowships in Tuberculosis Pathogenesis at New York University and Medical and Public Health Microbiology at the University of Washington. Prior to her current role, she was the Associate Director of Clinical Microbiology at the University of Washington Medical Center.
