Susan Branson is a Professor in the Department of History at Syracuse University, affiliated with Women's and Gender Studies, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and LGBTQ Studies. Her research focuses on American social/cultural history (18th/19th century), science in American popular culture, and early American women's roles.
