Susan Arlene McQuiston

Susan Arlene McQuiston serves as a Lecturer in the Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics Program within the College of Natural Science at Michigan State University, where she has taught continuously since May 2009. She pioneered the laboratory skills instruction role for ten years, currently delivers Hematology, Hemostasis, and Flow Cytometry courses for undergraduate and graduate students, and acts as an Academic Advisor while mentoring the BLD Student Association.

Her laboratory instruction has been foundational to the BLD program's curriculum design since its inception. As the program's first laboratory skills instructor, she developed core hematology and flow cytometry training protocols, and her 2013 graduation from the Walter and Pauline Adams Academy for Instructional Excellence and Innovation underscores her focus on pedagogical advancement in diagnostic science education.
