Surabhi Chandra

Surabhi Chandra is Professor and Co-Chair of Biology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Her research examines cardiovascular and renal physiology, pharmacological interventions, and metabolic disease impacts on cancer progression. Chandra investigates molecular pathways linking diabetes to breast cancer malignancy and develops microfluidic technologies for cell analysis.

Her work identifies novel therapeutic ligands targeting adenosine receptors and characterizes hyperglycemia-induced changes in cancer cell architecture. Chandra holds a PhD from Tulane University and maintains affiliations with the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics and American Physiological Society.
