Sunil Sharma is a Professor of Persianate & Comparative Literature at Boston University, serving as Director of the Center for the Study of Asia (BUCSA) and the Global Medieval Studies Program. He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and specializes in premodern Persian and South Asian literatures, focusing on poetry, court cultures, the history of the book, and travel writing.
