Sunil Kumar Aggarwal

Sunil Kumar Aggarwal is an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Washington, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences. Research Interests: Focuses on geographies of access and delivery of cannabinologic and psychedelic integrative medicine in pain management, palliative care, and rehabilitation. Explores global health equity, social medicine, and health/human rights through a political ecology lens. Studies psychoactive biotic commons enclosures, seed sovereignty, depathologization movements, and therapeutic landscape formations. Engages in public scholarship and social movements addressing inequality and conflict agnotology.

Professional Roles: Practices as an Integrative Pain, Palliative Care, and Rehabilitation Physician at AIMS Institute (Seattle). Serves as an on-call Palliative and Hospice Physician in the Puget Sound region. Previously led palliative care services at a community hospital and cancer center.
