Sungwon Ahn

Sungwon Ahn is an Associate Professor of Actuarial Sciences at Roosevelt University's College of Science, Health and Pharmacy, Department of Mathematics. His expertise spans probability theory, discrete stochastic processes, actuarial science, and mathematical finance. He teaches actuarial science and statistics courses.

Education: BS/BA in Mathematics & Actuarial Science (Drake University), MA (Purdue University), and PhD in Mathematics (Purdue University).

Research focuses on advancing theoretical frameworks in probability with applications to actuarial science and financial modeling. Anticipated 2018 milestone: Earning the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) credential.
