Sung Kim

Dr. Sung Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Howard University's College of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on structural and functional analysis of bacterial cell walls using advanced techniques like solid-state NMR and mass spectrometry. Dr. Kim investigates antimicrobial agent mechanisms and develops analytical tools for studying peptidoglycan in pathogens including Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis.
