Sujey Vega

Sujey Vega is Associate Professor of Women and Gender Studies and affiliate faculty in Religious Studies at Arizona State University. As director of Community Collaborative Initiatives, her ethnographic research examines Latina/o experiences in the US, focusing on belonging, ethno-religious practices, and gendered social networks. Her publications analyze Mormon Latina communities, immigrant social networks, and cultural identity formation. Current research investigates:

• Gendered social networks in immigrant communities
• Intersections of religion and ethnic identity
