Sujatha Jesudason

Sujatha Jesudason is a Professor of Professional Practice in Management at The New School's Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment. She specializes in innovative approaches to social justice, start-up nonprofit leadership, and integrating design and innovation into social change work. Her research focuses on movement building, equity, reproductive genetics ethics, and gender/racial inclusion.

Research Interests: Dr. Jesudason explores the intersection of design and social justice, advocating for equitable practices in activism and organizational leadership. She emphasizes challenging traditional approaches to large-scale social change through collaborative and experimental strategies.

Advising & Grants: She has advised organizations on equity integration, multi-stakeholder collaborations, and social innovation. Her past roles include founding CoreAlign (2012) to teach design for social change and Generations Ahead, addressing reproductive genetics ethics. Current projects include a writing focus on power, vulnerability, and martial arts as resistance.
