Sue Olney

A/Prof Sue Olney holds multiple academic roles including Honorary Associate Professor at the Australian National University (ANU), Public Policy Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne's Melbourne Disability Institute, Honorary Senior Fellow at the Melbourne School of Government, and Visiting Fellow at UNSW Canberra's Public Service Research Group. Her research focuses on market-based reforms in public services, particularly employment, welfare-to-work programs, and disability services, emphasizing equity and access.

She has extensive experience across universities, government, and the non-profit sector, contributing to cross-sector initiatives on employment and disability services. Additionally, she serves on the editorial board of the Australian Journal of Public Administration and co-directs the social policy platform Power to Persuade.
