Sue Clark is an Assistant Professor and ASN Program Chair in the Nursing Department at Mount Aloysius College. She transitioned from a part-time clinical instructor role in 2011 to a full-time position, teaching both clinical and on-campus courses. A Mount Aloysius College alumna, she holds an ADN (1992) from the institution, a BSN from Penn State University, and an MSN in Nursing Education from Walden University (2013).
With over 21 years as a Registered Nurse, Clark has worked at Altoona Hospital since 1992, specializing in Surgical Progressive Care. She is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Nursing (ATCN), and NIH Stroke Scale. Her career goal is to leverage her clinical expertise to shape future nurses through education.
Outside academia, Clark is a devoted family woman, married for 21 years with three daughters, including two attending Mount Aloysius College. She balances professional commitments with family life and community engagement.
