Subash Shankar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Hunter College, City University of New York (CUNY), and an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, along with MS degrees in Mathematics (University of Minnesota) and Computer Science (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
His research focuses on Formal Methods, Software Engineering, Programming Languages, and Artificial Intelligence, with projects including static analysis of embedded systems, constraint logic programming over graphs, and formal verification of mixed macro-/micro- time systems. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in computer architecture, discrete mathematics, software engineering, programming languages, and formal methods.
Dr. Shankar's office is located at HN 1000F, 68th Street North, Hunter College. He is affiliated with the Graduate Center of CUNY and actively contributes to interdisciplinary research in software systems and theoretical computer science.
