Suantha Gomis

Suantha Gomis, BVSc, MVetSc, PhD, Dip ACPV, is a Research Professor and Principal Investigator at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) of the University of Saskatchewan. His research focuses on the basic and applied aspects of pathogenesis and control of viral and bacterial diseases in poultry and mammalian species.

• Lab Team: Supervises a multidisciplinary team including PhD students (e.g., Mihiprabha Rathnayake, Asha Ranaraja) and post-doctoral fellows (e.g., Ayumi Matsuyama). Focus areas include immunology, microbiology, and probiotic applications in disease prevention.
