Su Fang Ng is a Professor at the Department of English, Virginia Tech, and Clifford A. Cutchins III Professor. She serves as the Director of the M.A. in English Program and has published extensively on early modern literature, colonial/postcolonial studies, and comparative literature. Her work includes monographs on Shakespearean-era family politics and Alexander the Great’s global influence.
- Research Interests: Early Modern Literature, Colonial/Postcolonial Literatures, Comparative Literature, Shakespeare and Milton Studies, Global Renaissance Studies.
Her recent publications focus on transnational networks, discovery narratives in the East Indies, and cross-cultural exchanges during the Renaissance. These works highlight interdisciplinary intersections of literature, history, and colonial studies.
