Stuart Marsh

Dr. Stuart Marsh is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at the Business School of Edge Hill University, joining in June 2021. He is also a fully qualified accountant (FCCA) with extensive industry experience at a 'Big Four' accountancy firm and academic expertise in teaching accounting and financial modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

• Education: MSc in Accounting (Corporate Reporting and Audit), Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Accounting, and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

His research focuses on Corporate and Financial Reporting, Audit Quality, and Accounting Education. He contributed to the 2019 Sir Donald Brydon review on audit effectiveness, highlighting his expertise in auditing and assurance. His 2023 publication explores the intersection of technology with hospitality management education post-CV-19, reflecting broader interests in training and digital transformation.
