Professor Stuart Gregson is an Honorary Visiting Professor at Queen Mary University of London's School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. He holds BSc (Physics, 1994) and MSc (Microwave Solid State Physics, 1995) degrees from the University of Portsmouth, and a PhD (2003) from Queen Mary University of London, focusing on near-field antenna measurements and statistical pattern recognition.
His research expertise spans near-field antenna measurements, finite array mutual coupling, computational electromagnetics, and electromagnetic scattering. He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed papers and two influential books: Principles of Planar Near-Field Antenna Measurements (2007) and Theory and Practice of Modern Antenna Range Measurements (2014), both in the IET Electromagnetic Waves Series.
- Professional Affiliations: Fellow of AMTA, Fellow of IET, Fellow of Institute of Physics, Chartered Engineer/Physicist
- Award: 2008 AMTA Best Technical Paper Award
He actively contributes to industrial training courses on near-field testing and maintains close ties with the electromagnetic research community.
