Stuart H. Goldberg is a Professor of Russian in the School of Modern Languages at Georgia Institute of Technology, part of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. He joined Georgia Tech in 2003 and holds a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with an M.A. and B.A. from the same institutions and Williams College, respectively. His research focuses on Russian and Polish literature and culture, with specialties in Russian poetry, Symbolist traditions, and intercultural influences such as Jewish Kabbalah on Polish Romantic theater.

Dr. Goldberg teaches Russian language, literature, and culture courses, including an immersive summer program in Riga, Latvia. He pioneered the Georgia Tech Critical Languages Song Project, integrating computer science and human-computer interaction to teach language through song analysis. His work bridges literary scholarship with innovative pedagogy, emphasizing cultural immersion and interdisciplinary collaboration.
