Stuart Connop

Stuart Connop is Director of the Sustainability Research Institute and Professor at the University of East London. His research develops nature-based solutions for urban sustainability challenges, with particular focus on biodiversity-led green infrastructure and ecological design principles.

Connop's publications demonstrate expertise in urban ecosystem design, pollinator conservation, and sustainable drainage systems. Recent work examines policy frameworks for implementing nature-based solutions in European cities and environmental justice dimensions of green space distribution.
