Stuart Cameron

Dr. Stuart Cameron is a Senior Lecturer in Social Care & Social Policy at the School of Health, Social Work and Sport. He teaches across Social Work, Social Policy and Sociology, and Community and Social Care programmes from undergraduate to master's levels. His research focuses on education policy, welfare history, social theory, and the sociology of childhood. He actively supervises postgraduate research students.

Dr. Cameron's expertise spans interdisciplinary areas including the intersection of policy and practice in social care, historical perspectives on welfare systems, and contemporary issues in undergraduate employment pathways.
