Stratakis Dimitrios

Stratakis Dimitrios is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (EL.ME.PA). He holds a Ph.D. from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), specializing in electromagnetic field measurement methodologies. He is the scientific director of the Laboratory of Non-Ionizing Radiation (NIR), focusing on electromagnetic field measurements across frequency ranges and their applications in telecommunications and environmental safety.

His work spans electromagnetic field measurement methodologies, wireless broadband communication systems, and electromagnetic shielding evaluations. He has contributed to 5 book chapters, 10 journal papers, and 39 conference papers, with over 270 citations. His research addresses practical applications in telecommunications infrastructure, environmental safety, and material evaluation.

Teaching & Supervision:

• Undergraduate courses: Telecommunications Systems I/II, Antennas and Propagation.
• Postgraduate course: Advanced Topics in Antennas and Wireless Propagation.
• Supervised over 40 undergraduate and 3 postgraduate theses.

Professional Activities:

• Participated in 30+ R&D projects, including 2 as scientific director.
• Reviewer for scientific journals and organizer of 7 international conferences.
