Stijn Ally

Stijn Ally is a Scientific Employee at the Department of Engineering Technology, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), within the Faculty of Sciences and Bioengineering Sciences. His research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) techniques such as deep learning and reinforcement learning to enhance wind energy systems. Key areas include wind farm power forecasting, wake loss prediction, hybrid wind-hydrogen plant optimization, and energy trading strategies. He holds a PhD and has been recognized with the Best Presentation Award NAWEA (2024).
