Sthitadhi Roy is a Faculty member at the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS-TIFR), Bengaluru, India. His research focuses on out-of-equilibrium dynamics of quantum many-body systems, particularly in the context of many-body localization (MBL), quantum information dynamics, and open quantum systems. He holds a PhD from the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (2017) and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford (2017–2022).
**Education:**
- PhD in Theoretical Physics, Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (2013–2017)
- MSc (Integrated), Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (2008–2013)
**Research Interests:**
His work explores the interplay of disorder, interactions, and quantum dynamics in systems such as MBL, Fock-space correlations, and measurement-induced effects. Current projects include analyzing entanglement dynamics in disordered systems and the role of Fock-space percolation in localization transitions.
**Advising:**
- PhD Students: Bikram Pain, Alan Sherry (co-supervised)
- Postdocs: Indrajit Sau, Sibaram Ruidas
- Project Students: Shraddhanjali Chowdhury, Subhadip Chakraborty, Kritika Khanwal
**Publications:** Over 50 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as *Phys. Rev. B*, *J. Phys. Condens. Matter*, and *SciPost Phys.*, with notable contributions to understanding MBL dynamics and Fock-space anatomy.
