Steven Sorenson

Steven Sorenson is an Adjunct Professor and Pre-Law Advisor at Ripon College, where he teaches courses such as Business Law, Introduction to Law, Constitutional Law, and State and Local Government. With over 35 years of legal experience, he specializes in corporate law, business succession, estate planning, and municipal matters. He concurrently serves as a Fond du Lac County Court Commissioner and acts as a mediator/arbitrator in real estate and labor disputes.

Education: Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School (Milwaukee, WI) and a BA from Luther College (Decorah, Iowa).

His professional involvement includes leadership roles as President of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the National Conference of Bar Presidents. He also contributes to community organizations like the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and the Green Lake County/Ripon Area Foundation Board.

As an educator, Sorenson mentors students pursuing legal careers, with many graduates achieving success in law. His teaching and advisory roles focus on preparing students for legal professions through coursework and practical guidance.
