Steven R. Hick is a Professor of the Practice of GIS and Director of the GIS Distance Learning Program at the University of Denver. He also serves as the Director of the MS (GIS) Online Program and has been instrumental in shaping Geographic Information Science (GISc) education and research in the Department of Geography and the Environment for over 25 years.
