Steven Moore

Steven Moore is a Lecturer at Queen’s University, holding continuing adjunct appointments at the Smith School of Business and Queen’s School of Environmental Studies. He specializes in teaching Sustainability, Environmental Policy, and Ecological Economics, emphasizing practical applications in global contexts. His international teaching includes programs in Costa Rica and the UK. He co-founded the Queen’s Water Access Group, instrumental in implementing the campus’s bottled water-free policy.

Education: MES from York University and BSc (Honors) from Michigan State University.

Research focuses on sustainable energy systems, policy design, and ecological economics. Awards include the Students’ Choice Professor of the Year (2010-11, 2014-15) and a nomination for the W.J. Barnes Teaching Award.

Teaching spans over 20 courses at multiple institutions, including MBA programs at Ducere Business School.
