Steven M. Weisberg is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He directs the Spatial Cognition and Navigational Neuroscience (SCANN) Lab, focusing on spatial navigation, cognitive neuroscience, and virtual reality research.
- Education: PhD in Psychology (2014) from Temple University's Brain and Cognitive Sciences program, Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Pennsylvania (2015-2019), BA in Psychology (2008) from College of William and Mary.
Research interests span cognitive neuroscience, fMRI/structural MRI methodologies, and individual differences in spatial navigation and memory. Current projects explore navigation behavior in virtual reality and Alzheimer's disease-related impairments.
