Steven Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of British Columbia (UBC), affiliated with the Faculty of Arts. He serves as Co-Director of the Centre for Korean Research at the Institute of Asian Research (IAR). His research focuses on international relations, Cold War history, US-Korea relations, and 20th-century Korean studies. He holds a D.Phil. from Oxford University (1991).

- Research: Cold War dynamics, US-Korea diplomatic relations, political/social history of East Asian warfare
