Steven Jones

Steven Jones is a part-time Lecturer and researcher at Staffordshire University's Faculty of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences. A graduate of Staffordshire University (2019), Jones specializes in vector ecology with research focused on the Dengue-spreading mosquito Aedes aegypti. His academic interests span molecular and cellular biology alongside educational research on student transitions between academic levels.

Jones serves as Student Director of the Society for Vector Ecology (SOVE) 2021/2022, bridging student engagement with professional entomology communities. His teaching portfolio includes professional development courses and molecular/cellular biology instruction.
