Steven Jefferson is an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Fordham University. His research focuses on race, stratification, and major institutions within the Black community, including education, labor markets, and organizations. He employs quantitative and experimental methods to study racial, gendered, and socioeconomic disparities in outcomes like school discipline and college access.
