Steven Biegalski is the Chair of the Nuclear and Radiological Engineering and Medical Physics Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously, he served as faculty and Reactor Director at The University of Texas at Austin for 15 years. He holds degrees from the University of Maryland (B.S., 1991), University of Florida (M.E., 1992), and University of Illinois (Ph.D., 1996). His expertise spans nuclear analytical methods, isotope production, nuclear forensics, and non-proliferation. Dr. Biegalski has advised 25 Ph.D. students and holds Professional Engineering licenses in Texas and Virginia.
