Steven Barfuss

Steven Barfuss serves as Associate Professor and Associate Director at the Utah Water Research Laboratory (UWRL) within Utah State University's College of Engineering, while also holding a Research Associate Professor appointment in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department.

His research focuses on water resources engineering and hydrology, with strong emphasis on environmental systems analysis stemming from his leadership role at the UWRL—a premier facility addressing critical water challenges through interdisciplinary approaches. This aligns with the department's mission in sustainable water management and infrastructure development.
