Steven Arnfjord

Steven Arnfjord is a Visiting Researcher at Roskilde University's Department of Social Sciences and Business, affiliated with the Centre for Arctic Studies. He concurrently holds an Associate Professorship and serves as head of a research centre at the University of Greenland since 2017. His work focuses on Greenland's welfare society, social policy, poverty, gender, disability, volunteer social work, and homelessness under Arctic conditions. He co-leads the Ilisimatusarfik Centre for Arctic Welfare with Dr. Tenna Jensen, emphasizing methodologies to combat homelessness and enhance societal inclusion. His research contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to education, poverty reduction, and sustainable communities.
