Steve Duke is the Mary and John H. Sanders Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Auburn University’s Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. He previously served as the college’s associate dean for academics before returning to full-time teaching and research roles. Duke holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests align with the college’s strengths in advanced materials, manufacturing systems, and bioresource engineering, as evidenced by his affiliation with centers like the Alabama Center for Paper and Bioresource Engineering and the Center for Polymers and Advanced Composites.
