Steve Brown is a Senior Tutor and Visiting Lecturer at the Royal College of Art (RCA), associated with the Ceramics & Glass programme under the School of Arts & Humanities. He holds a PhD from the RCA, following a BA in Designer Maker from Plymouth University and an MA. His research focuses on the intersection of printmaking, ceramics, and material innovation, with projects funded by AHRC grants. Recent work includes collaborations with Royal Crown Derby and the V&A on digital ceramic printing and historical restoration. He advises on commercial ceramic projects and leads workshops on 3D glass printing. Current students include Hannah Tounsend and Jinya Zhao.
