Steve Barnett

Professor Steve Barnett is a theoretical physicist at the University of Glasgow, with over 30 years of expertise in quantum optics and quantum information. He has collaborated extensively with experimental groups and authored three graduate-level textbooks published by Oxford University Press.

His research spans non-classical light properties, optical phase theory, quantum communication, orbital angular momentum, and quantum retrodiction. He also explores low-temperature physics and general relativity in his spare time.
