Stephen Wilkinson

Dr. Stephen Wilkinson is a Senior Lecturer in Politics at the University of Buckingham's School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He specializes in Cuban studies, US-Cuba relations, and political economy. As Chairperson of the Humanities’ School Teaching and Learning Committee and Editor of the International Journal of Cuban Studies, he actively contributes to academic discourse on Cuba.

His research focuses on Cuban nationalism, the Cuban economy, and leadership dynamics, with notable publications including Detective Fiction in Cuban Society and Culture (2006) and a top-downloaded 2017 article on US-Cuba market relations.
