Stephen White

Stephen White is an Honorary Professor of Practice at Queen's Business School, Queen's University Belfast. He currently serves as a Commissioner at the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission and is a freelance consultant focusing on rule of law and leadership. He chairs the Royal Ulster Constabulary GC Foundation, an organization established to honor the achievements of the RUC. His career includes serving in the Royal Ulster Constabulary and Police Service of Northern Ireland up to the rank of Assistant Chief Constable, followed by roles with the EU and international security sector reform consultancy. His research interests include police reform, community policing strategies, and human rights-based approaches to countering violent extremism. He has published works on these topics and holds a degree from Queen's University Belfast.
