Stephen Ward

Stephen Ward is a Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Bath, leading research on inflammatory mechanisms and immune system signaling. He holds roles in the Centre for Therapeutic Innovation and Centre for Bioengineering & Biomedical Technologies (CBio). His work focuses on phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) signaling pathways in immune cells, with translational applications in autoimmune diseases and fibrosis. Ward has authored over 98 publications and secured funding from major bodies like the MRC and Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
