Stephen T. Mockabee

Stephen T. Mockabee is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Graduate Program Director at the University of Cincinnati's School of Public and International Affairs. His research focuses on elections, public opinion, survey methodologies, and religion's intersection with politics. He holds a Ph.D. (2001) and B.A. (1995) in Political Science from Ohio State University and Michigan State University, respectively.

Prior roles include Research Associate at Ohio State's Center for Survey Research and Visiting Scholar at Brigham Young University’s Center for the Study of Elections and Democracy. His collaborative research on poll workers, funded by the Pew Center on the States, has been widely published in journals like Political Research Quarterly and Politics and Religion. He served on the editorial board of the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion and as Program Chair for the Religion and Politics Section of the American Political Science Association.
