Dr. Stephen Phillippi is a Full Professor with Tenure at the LSU School of Public Health, serving as Chair of Community Health Science & Policy and Jim Finks Endowed Chair of Health Promotion. He leads the Institute for Public Health & Justice and the Center for Evidence to Practice, focusing on translating research into policy and practice. His work emphasizes behavioral health, juvenile justice reform, and evidence-based practices. Dr. Phillippi holds a PhD in Social Work from LSU, an MSW from Tulane, and a BA in Psychology from Loyola University.
