Stephen Paskey

Stephen Paskey is a Professor of Skills at the University at Buffalo School of Law, specializing in legal writing and advocacy training. He previously served as a litigating attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, focusing on Nazi-era human rights cases, including the high-profile deportation of John Demjanjuk. His research bridges law with narrative theory and rhetoric, particularly in the context of refugee/asylum law and legal storytelling. Paskey holds a law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law (1994) and clerked for a Maryland appellate judge.
