Stephen Moore

Dr. Stephen Moore is an Associate Professor of Music at California State University, Dominguez Hills with additional teaching roles at Carnegie Mellon University's Marta Sanchez Summer Training Center and Northwest Dalcroze Summer Training Center. He holds a PhD in Music Theory from Indiana University, MM in Piano from Manhattan School of Music, and BM Education from University of Rhode Island.

His scholarly work focuses on Dalcroze Eurhythmics pedagogy and piano performance. He has co-authored instructional books The Rhythm Inside and Rhythm One-on-One and released a solo piano album The French Connection. As a performer, he has presented internationally in Japan, Taiwan, Austria, and throughout the United States.
