Stephen Miahky is an Associate Professor of Violin and holds the Joseph Joachim Chair at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music. He serves as First Violin of the Blair String Quartet and is a rotating concertmaster with the IRIS Orchestra. His roles include guest concertmaster positions with multiple orchestras and collaborations with renowned ensembles like Brave New Works and Alarm Will Sound. Miahky is also director of the Adult Chamber Music Institute at Vanderbilt.
