Stephen Locke

Dr. Stephen Locke is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida Atlantic University specializing in graph theory and combinatorial mathematics. His research investigates Dirac-type conditions for long cycles, independence ratios in triangle-free graphs, and combinatorial game theory variants.

Recent work includes analysis of Nim game variants on geometric structures and Boolean matrices, C4-face magic labelings on topological surfaces, and sum-free graph properties. Dr. Locke serves on university committees including the Faculty Senate and Pre-health Professions Committee.

He holds a Ph.D. in Combinatorics and Optimization from the University of Waterloo and has published extensively in discrete mathematics journals including Discrete Mathematics, Integers, and the Journal of Combinatorics.
