Stephen J. Schnably

Stephen J. Schnably is a Professor of Law at the University of Miami School of Law. He teaches Property Law (Course B1) and advises students on writing requirements and law reviews.

Research Interests focus on core property law domains including:

• Ownership transfers (gifts, sales, adverse possession)
• Estates and future interests
• Land use regulation (private servitudes, public zoning)
• Landlord-tenant relationships
• Constitutional property limitations

Course Structure includes mandatory practice exams and strict closed-book policies during assessments. Students must adhere to attendance requirements outlined in the syllabus.
