Stephen Hinshaw is Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, and Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UC San Francisco. His research focuses on developmental psychopathology, ADHD mechanisms, and stigma reduction in mental health. With over $20 million in NIH grants and equivalent foundation funding, he has led longitudinal studies on ADHD in girls and women since 1992 as Principal Investigator for the MTA Study's Berkeley site.
